18th April 2025
Two new sections have been added to our Parish Days. Heritage Day 2024, which we had great fun setting up and running, has now been added with loads of lovely photos. There has also been a page added as Townland Launch – this includes a lovely video of the event as well as photos from the day. Huge thanks to all who helped out and joined us on both days.

A new section added to Down Memory Lane –Kay Gallagher Honan gives us great insight into life around Kilrush and her time away before returning to settle down in Killimer.

A new section added to Down Memory Lane – and evening with Michael Culligan. Also Maureen Carrigs segment updated to include interview from first edition with John and Maureen.

A new section in our Down Memory Lane segment – A diary written by a traveller in 1845 giving an insight into out locality.

A new section called Down Memory Lane has been added to the website. It is the start of our collection of interviews and memories that we have collected. Some are snippets from the books while others are new. All give an insight into living in our parish down through the years.

New page called Parish Maps created with some wonderful links to interactive maps. LGFA and Camogie pages made separate to GAA. 2023 season updated in GAA.
